National League side Braintree Town have signed former Southend duo Mark Phillips and Alex Woodyard.
Phillips is currently a free agent after departing AFC Wimbledon, and recent loan club Aldershot Town, while Woodyard joins National League South side Concord Rangers.
Defender Phillips, who started his career at Millwall for eight years, was part of Southend's team who reached Wembley in 2013 for the Paint Trophy final.
Midfielder Woodyard returns to Braintree following a loan spell in 2013. The 22-year-old joined Southend as a 16-year-old in 2010. He went on to have loan deals at Farnborough and the Iron before signing a contract at Dartford. He joined Concord Rangers in 2014.
