Southend United have signed former Ipswich Town striker Noel Hunt on a one-year deal, with an option of a second year.
The Irish striker spent most of last season at Championship side Ipswich Town.
Hunt has previously played for Irish side Shamrock Rovers, Scottish sides Dunfermline Athletic, and Dundee United.
He moved to Reading in 2008, and joined Leeds United, following a 5-year stay at the Berkshire side.
Meanwhile, youth player Cameron John has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
