The Yellows ran out 2-1 winners at league leaders Cray Wanderers during the week, which gave Sudbury their sixth consecutive win, and moved them to within three points of the Bromley club.
The Yellows emerged victorious over Phoenix last week, courtesy of Parker's second-half penalty.
AFC currently sit second on 54 points, with two games in hand, while visiting Aveley sit 8th place on 37 points, with one game in hand.
Aveley go into the match after drawing 2-2 with Dereham (last Sat), but progressed into the quarter-finals of the Essex Senior Cup with victory over Thurrock (Tue 8th)-.
Manager Jamie Godbold is expected to return to the dugout on Saturday. Liam Wales has recovered from illness
Sudbury Reserves take their longest trip of the season this afternoon, when they travel to Cambridgeshire side March Town United, in the Thurlow Nunn First Division. The side sit seventh, following three consecutive wins, where they have scored ten times.
