Ipswich Town have signed Barnsley midfielder Paul Digby on loan until the end of the season.
The Sheffield-born player has played for Barnsley, since joining as a youth player in 2006, and became one of the club's youngest first team players when featuring against Derby as a 16-year-old.
The 20-year-old has also featured for the England Under-19s, and is a current member of the England Under-20s.
The midfielder, who has clocked up 25 first-team appearances for Barnsley has travelled with the squad to Burnley, but will not feature.
Digby appeared three times for the Tykes this season - one start, and two cup appearances.
Rumours in The Sun newspaper this morning hinted at Mick McCarthy bringing in the central-midfielder, and suggesting that Digby could sign a permanent deal if he impresses.
