AFC Sudbury will finally lift the trophy of the Ryman North, as the Yellows conclude their successful title-winning season with a visit from Harlow Town.

Date: Saturday 23rd April 2016
Competition: Ryman Division One North
Kick-Off: 3:00pm
Location: Wardale-Williams Stadium, Sudbury

AFC Sudbury were announced winners of the league, two weeks ago, after winning 1-0 at Tilbury, and since then, have beat Phoenix Sports 4-2 in an exciting last away match of the season.

Visitors Harlow sit third in the Ryman North, with a confirmed play-off spot where they will face either Cray or Hornchurch (depending on where Harlow/Thurrock both finish).

They promise to bring a challenge, as the form table toppers Harlow search to take 2nd place from Thurrock,

Godbold (pictured) will be without captain Sam Clarke, while Stephano Mallardo is out with a suspension. Ollie Berquez will also play his final senior football match, after announcing his retirement last week.

Goals from club top scorers' Craig Parker and Luke Callander helped AFC come from behind to beat the Hawks 2-1 at the Harlow Arena, in the return league match.

The trophy will be presented to AFC at the conclusion of the fixture, with fans invited to stay behind and celebrate the club's promotion. A special Champions edition matchday programme will also be sold to spectators for £2.

Last night, AFC Reserves ran out 1-0 winners over Dereham Town Reserves, thank to Danny Bloomfield's strike.

League News: One of Waltham Abbey, Wroxham and Heybridge Swifts will take the last relegation spot, with all three sides within three points of 22nd. Waltham Abbey currently occupy 22nd, and need to better Wroxham's result to survive.
