The Blues will welcome a squad from the Premier League club on Saturday 23rd July.
Southend met West Ham in an entertaining friendly last summer; Dimitri Payet, making his Iron debut, scored a brace, to help his side run out 3-2 winners.
Blues will also face non-league sides Great Wakering, Canvey Island and Braintree Town during the pre-season period.
