AFC Sudbury have learnt that they will face Halstead Town in the first qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Halstead will meet the Yellows on Saturday 3rd September after they upset Thurrock FC, two divisions above Town.
The Humbugs rushed into a two-nil lead after 12 minutes, following early goals from Cook and O'Hare. Pleace made it 3-0 in the second half, but Stimson's strike and an own-goal provided the visitors with a glimmer of hope, late on.
Halstead Town, of the Thurlow Nunn League, will meet AFC, four divisions above Halstead, on Sat 3rd September (3pm) at the Wardale-Williams Stadium.
