FT: AFC Sudbury 5-4 Ipswich Town XI

A strong Ipswich Town side were defeat 5-4 to Ryman North champions AFC Sudbury, in a nine-goal thriller on Monday evening.



Town took the lead after 15 mins, as Shane McLoughlin slid home Stewart's low cross.

However, Sudbury drew level during first-half injury time, as Callander chipped the ball over Crowe, after claiming the ball from Parker.

Cameron Stewart put the Blues ahead with an angled strike from a corner, after the restart.

But the Yellows equalised again, as Wales slotted home after intercepting Dozzell's pass on 67.

And Sudbury took the lead, four minutes later, as Blackwell set up Wales for an easy finish past Ipswich academy 'keeper Crowe.

Teenager striker Ben Morris struck home to make the scores level again, striking past Robinson two minutes later, for the Tractor Boys.

The Yellows regained the lead on 76, as Eagle fired past Crowe, but once again, Town drew level through Cameron Stewart's 82nd minute goal.

However, a winning goal was to follow, and it fell to Craig Parker, who drove the ball home, following Eagle's blocked free-kick.
