EFL Championship side Ipswich Town will send an X1 side down to the Wardale-Williams Stadium tonight, as they take on Jamie Godbold's AFC Sudbury.
Competition: Pre-Season Friendly
Kick-Off: 7:45pm
Location: Wardale-Williams Stadium, Sudbury
Last Updated 13:47
Mick McCarthy's side will provide the visitors in what will be a match to showcase the AFC Sudbury community and facilities, with the fixture played on the club's 3G pitch.
Defenders Ben Robinson and Jack Wilkinson will both miss the match due to injury for the home side, with a mixed side expected to feature for Town.
The Blues go into the match following their 2-1 defeat to RUSG on Saturday, and had a mix of chances to win the game.
It was confirmed on Twitter that some of the unused subs from Saturday's Ipswich first team match would feature tonight. Perhaps a similar side seen at Town's draw with Coggeshall Town, a fortnight ago, could feature.
The Yellows have picked up five wins in pre-season, out of nine games, but most recently lost 2-1 away at Brightlingsea on Saturday.
The two sides previously met in a summer friendly in 2014, when an Ipswich XI ran out 4-2 winners over Sudbury, back on the grass surface.
The recently-promoted Ryman Premier side will look to put on a good show, as they welcome the Blues.
As usual, full bar and catering services will be available for the match. Gates open at 6.30pm.
Fans advised to allow extra time when travelling through Sudbury due to a road closure at Friars Street.
Admission Fees:
Adult - £8.00
Concessions - £6.00
U18s - £2.00
