REPORT: AFC Sudbury 2-2 Wingate & Finchley

AFC Sudbury will have been disappointed not to have taken all three points, as they drew 2-2 with Wingate & Finchley at the Wardale-Williams Stadium.

Reece Beckles-Richards gave the visitors the lead after 12 minutes, after a defensive mistake allowed the striker to calmly slot home past Garnham.

However, Craig Parker struck home from the edge of the area to draw AFC level on 30 minutes, after a good build-up from Greene and Baker.

Defender Ryan Henshaw slotted home Bantick's free-kick to put the Yellows ahead on the stroke of half-time.

Wingate levelled the score, midway through the second half, as Rob Laney struck past Garnham against the run of play.

Late on, the Yellows could have won it, although headers from both Callander and Henshaw hit the bar.

The result means the Yellows remain unbeaten in their opening games of the season - winning their two away games, and drawing both home games 2-2.
