Braintree Town have announced that manager Jamie Day has departed the Cressing Road club, by mutual consent.
Day's departure comes after Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Forest Green Rovers, with the Iron picking up only two wins in 12 games.
The club released a statement saying that he had left the club by "mutual agreement", and will work quickly to find a replacement manager.
Iron sit 22nd in the National League after 12 games, and face Lincoln City next weekend.
