AFC Sudbury have announced that Dave Cowley has left the club, after only being with the Yellows for eleven days.

The utility player joined at the end of August, but he has departed the Ryman Premier League club due to work commitments.

Cowley featured in Sudbury's Ryman League match at home to Enfield Town, but was unable to play in Saturday's FA Cup win over Halstead Town as he was cup-tied.

Meanwhile, winger Jordan Blackwell has joined Ryman North side Brightlingsea Regent on a short-term loan deal.

The former Colchester younger progressed up to AFC's first team following a successful opening season with the Reserves.

Elsewhere, 17-year-old defender Tyler French has committed himself to the club, after signing a three-year contract with the club.
