Sudbury go into Saturday's league fixture following an excellent performance over Halstead Town, a match which they won 6-0.
Tonbridge also go into the match after an astounding 7-0 victory over Ascot United in an FA Cup replay on Tuesday evening. The Angels come to Sudbury, after also producing an unbeaten start to the season.
Godbold will be without Jordan Blackwell, who joined Brightlingsea on loan, and Dave Cowley, who left Sudbury, and recently joined Cheshunt.
The two sides meet for the first time since 2013, when the Angels beat AFC in an FA Trophy replay 1-0, after a 1-1 draw in Kent.
