Young AFC Sudbury defender Tyler French was in Ipswich Town's under-18 squad, that lost 4-2 against Coventry City, at Town's Playford Road ground on Saturday.
French played for Alan Lee's side, who has featured on numerous occasion for Jamie Godbold's first-team side in Sudbury.
He was also on the bench for Town's U23 match against Hull City on Monday afternoon.
The 17-year-old was in Sudbury's academy, featuring in under-18 and reserve matches during last season, and signed a new deal with the Ryman Premier club earlier this summer.
