AFC Sudbury U18s will be looking to cause an upset in the FA Youth Cup, when they travel to Swindon Town on Saturday afternoon (1pm kick-off).
Competition: FA Youth Cup - Second Round Proper
Date: Sat 19th Sep 2016
Kick-off: 13:00
Stadium: County Ground, Swindon
The U18s will take on their EFL League One opponents at the County Ground, in the second proper round, with the chance to host QPR in the third round.
Danny Laws' team have already made history by being the first AFC team to reach this stage of the competition.
The Yellows have beaten Stowmarket (0-8), Newmarket Town (1-9), Whitton United (0-4), Woodbridge Town (1-2) and Framlingham Town (2-1), in the previous five rounds to reach this stage, while the Robins beat Sailsbury 3-2 to reach this stage.
Sudbury remain one of the lowest-ranked sides, who remain in the competition.
Recent matches involving young AFC sides include a 2-1 win over Newmarket in the Suffolk Midweek Cup and a 3-1 defeat to Whitton United in the Thurlow Nunn First Division Cup; however, they will look forward to the trip to Wiltshire.
The young Robins team were last in action when they lost 5-2 to Oxford United on Saturday, in the Youth Alliance league.
AFC will make an estimated 310 mile round trip to and from SN1 on Saturday.
First-team youngster Tyler French, who recently had a trial spell at Ipswich Town, will be part of the travelling squad.
Congratulations to the team and management on making it this far, and the best of luck to them on Saturday.
Meanwhile, AFC's first team travel to Folkestone Invicta in the Ryman Premier (3pm KO).
