AFC Sudbury learn FA Trophy Second Round opponents

AFC Sudbury will host either National League North side Altrincham or National League Premier side Macclesfield Town in the second round proper of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

The two sides meet each other next Tuesday (20th) for their first round tie, due to Macclesfield's progress in the FA Cup

Manchester-based Altrincham defeated Blyth Spartans 3-2 in the third qualifying round to set up a tie with their Cheshire opponents.

Sudbury produced an impressive performance to beat Gosport Borough 2-1 in the first round proper on Saturday.

The tie will be played at the Wardale-Williams Stadium on Saturday 14th January 2017.
