AFC Sudbury have signed defender and midfielder Erkan Okay, following his departure from Cambridge City last week.
The 31-year-old will be in the squad for AFC's Ryman League Cup match away at AFC Hornchurch tonight, and is allowed to play in FA Trophy matches.
Okay started his career at Ipswich Town's academy, before he moved to Aylesbury. In 2004, he began his first stint at Histon, and was part of their squads which won promotion to the Conference South, and then the Conference Premier. He was in the team which defeated Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup in 2004.
He went on to play for Chelmsford City, Lowestoft Town and Royston Town, and has featured for England's 'C' reserve team (2-0 win vs Finland) and the Futsal team.
