Braintree Town have signed Kris Twardek on a short-term loan deal from Skybet League One side Millwall FC.
The 19-year-old Canadian-born player played youth football with West Carleton and Ottawa South United, before joining the London side.
He has represented the Czech Republic up to under-19's level but is currently part of Canada's U20's squad.
Twardek has made three appearances for Millwall, including one EFL Trophy match against West Brom.
He is available for Hakan Hayrettin's side for the league match against Chester on Saturday.
Meanwhile, fan-favourite Simeon Akinola has departed Braintree to join Skybet League Two side Barnet.
