Surrey side Merstham are Saturday's visitors to the Wardale Williams Stadium, as the Yellows look to return to winning ways in the Ryman Premier.
Date: Saturday 28th January 2016
Competition: Ryman League Premier Division
Kick-Off: 3pm
Location: Wardale Williams Stadium, Sudbury
The Yellows go into Saturday's game, having last played an entire match two weeks ago. Last weekend's match at Hendon was abandoned in the closing stages, with AFC leading 2-1.
The Moatsiders visit Suffolk, having seen their last four league matches against Lowestoft (away), Worthing, Met Police (both home) and Needham (away) ALL postponed due to poor weather.
Merstham saw off Walton & Hersham 5-1 in the Surrey Senior Cup on Tue 10th, having lost to Hendon in their last league fixture.
The reverse fixture, back in August, saw the Yellows see off their hosts, courtesy of a late Liam Wales strike.
The fixture is being sponsored by GSM Quality Joinery and Carpentry. AFC's Essex Reserve team are away to Hullbridge Sports in the Essex Senior Reserve League.
Team News:
Jamie Godbold will be without Jack Wilkinson, Erkan Okay and Jordan Blackwell, who are all injured.
Goalkeeper Callum Robinson returns to the AFC squad following the completion of his loan deal at Wroxham, while Tyler French returns from a recent trial at Premier League side Crystal Palace.
Match Programme
Match programmes are available inside the ground at £2.00.
