AFC Sudbury midfielder Erkan Okay will miss the remainder of the season after confirming his injury on Twitter.
Okay, who joined the Yellows from Cambridge City in December, played five games prior to his injury against former side Lowestoft Town.
Manager Jamie Godbold tweeted his support to the 31-year-old.
Dissapointed to say after further tests on my knee I will be out for the rest of the season and more due to cruciate ligament damage. ⚽😔— Erkan Okay (@Erks37) 22 February 2017
Going to London in a few weeks to see how bad the damage is. I am truelly gutted and devastated but will fight to come back and play again⚽— Erkan Okay (@Erks37) 22 February 2017
