AFC Sudbury fell to an unwanted 0-4 defeat at home to Hendon, as pressure continued to build on the Yellows as they look to avoid relegation.
The London-based visitors took a 2-0 lead into the half time break, as Kezie Ibe struck home after 20 minutes, before Matt Ball curled home an excellent free-kick past Garnham (pictured above).
Barrington set up Keagan Cole who struck home, four minutes from the restart to extend Hendon's lead, and Ibe got his second of the match after diverting the ball around AFC goalkeeper Garnham for 4-0.
Tyler French was dismissed after picking up his second yellow card in the final fifteen minutes, moments after Joe Marsden headed over the bar, in AFC's closest effort of the match.
Sudbury remain 23rd, and have got five final games to escape the dreaded drop zone, starting with a trip to mid-table Worthing next Saturday.
Can the Yellows escape the drop?
Yes, the Yellows are still able to escape the relegation zone, with five games left of the season. It will be a tricky period as they are set to face three of the top five teams in the Ryman Premier.
The two home games are against table-topping Bognor Regis Town and play-off chasing Suffolk rivals Needham Market. Both teams defeated Sudbury in the reverse meetings earlier this season.
The bottom four teams are relegated to the Ryman North and South divisions, depending on their geographical locations.
Grays Athletic sit 24th in the Ryman League, and are eight points behind AFC.
Relegation rivals Kingstonian, in 21st position, lost 2-1 to Burgess Hill Town, while Leatherhead, in 20th, picked up a 1-0 win over Wingate to keep their hopes alive.
Hendon, 22nd, gained a four-point gap over AFC with their win this afternoon.
