PREVIEW: AFC Sudbury vs Folkestone Invicta

Sudbury will look to pick up their first win in four games when they welcome Folkestone Invicta to the Wardale Williams Stadium on Saturday.

Date: Saturday 4th March 2016
Competition: Ryman League Premier Division
Kick-Off: 3pm
Location: Wardale Williams Stadium, Sudbury

The Yellows go in the Ryman League clash after losing their past three games away at Staines Town (4-0), Leatherhead (2-0) and Met Police (1-0), the latter match being watched by 78 spectators.

The Seasiders will travel to Suffolk following a heavy 4-1 home defeat to Harlow Town, with Invicta having only won a single game in their last seven outings. They have performed well on 3G pitches, picked up points at Worthing, Harlow and Hendon, who all play on all-weather surfaces.

However, last season's Ryman South champions have made good progress in the Kent Senior Cup, and will play Dover Athletic in the semi-finals of the county competition.

Folkestone sit 16th on 42 points, while the Yellows sit 20th, just outside the relegation places.

November's reverse fixture in Kent saw Folkestone take a 4-2 win against AFC.

The match is being sponsored by Waggon & Horses, Sudbury. AFC's Reserves are away to Team Bury in the Thurlow Nunn First Division, while AFC's Essex team travel to Thurrock Reserves in the Essex Senior Reserve League.

Team News:
Joe Marsden will look to make his home debut, while Marcus Garnham could return from injury for AFC.
