AFC Academy win three cups

AFC Sudbury's Under 18s picked up a treble of trophies as their successful Thurlow Nunn Youth League season came to an end.

Ollie Dunlop scored in Sudbury's win over Swaffham on Fri 19th.

On Friday evening, the young Yellows picked up a 4-0 win over Swaffham Town Under 18s in the Thurlow Nunn Youth League Championship final.

Mekhi McKenzie got a brace, while Ollie Dunlop (pictured) and Callum Fuller also struck  for the young side.

On Monday 15th, the side defeated Walsham Le Willows 5-1 at Colchester United's Weston Homes Community Stadium, in the final of the Suffolk FA Midweek Youth Cup.

McKenzie got a brace either side of Ollie Dunlop's strike and Sam Mills's header. Ollie Peters fired home to give the Yellows a 5-1 victory.

Finally, last week saw the Under 18's win the Thurlow Nunn Youth Cup after defeating Dereham Town's youth side on a penalty shoot-out.

Sudbury's U16's also picked up a cup double, this season, while successful seasons were seen by other AFC youth teams.
