Ipswich sign Adeyemi and Huws

Ipswich Town have signed midfielders Tom Adeyemi and Emyr Huws on permanent deals.

25-year-old Adeyemi was a free agent, and has joined Town on a two-year deal, with the option of a further year.

The former Norwich youth graduate has previously played for Birmingham, Bradford, Brentford and Oldham, having recently been on loan at Leeds and Rotherham from parent club Cardiff.

Welsh international Emyr Huws has joined the Blues on a four-year deal from Cardiff, having spent the latter half of last season on loan at Portman Road.

The club say that the 23-year-old has signed one of the longest contract's in recent history, and has previously played for Man City, Swansea, Northampton, Birmingham and Wigan.

They become Town's third and fourth arrivals of the summer, joining Jordan Spence and Joe Garner.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Dean Gerkin has signed a two year deal and 19-year-old Kundai Benyu has been picked up by Scottish champions Celtic.
