AFC Sudbury have resigned attacking midfielder David Cowley on a one-year deal, following his departure from recently promoted Isthmian Premier side Thurrock.
Cowley was part of Thurrock's squad which won the Ryman North play-offs at the end of last season, and returns to AFC for a third spell.
The 29-year-old originally joined the Yellows in 2012 from Harlow Town, and went on to become the Supporter's Player of the season.
However, he went on to sign for Needham Market in 2014.
Cowley went on to have a mini stint at the club last year, when he stayed in Suffolk for eleven days - before playing for Cheshunt and Thurrock.
