The National League have announced that the play-off format will be extended to include six teams, following last weekend's AGM.
The new play-off format will mean teams between second and seventh will take part, in one-legged affairs - with the highest placed team given 'home' advantage.
The 4th placed team will host on the 7th placed team, while the 5th placed team host the 6th placed team. The winners will then visit the 2nd and 3rd placed teams.
Currently, teams placed 2nd to 5th compete in two-legged semi-final matches.
This play-off system will be introduced in the upcoming season, affecting the National League, NL North and NL South.
It was also confirmed that fixtures will be released at 1pm on Wed 5th July, with the season starting on Sat 5th August.
