Ground: Wardale-Williams Stadium
Date: Saturday 8th July 2017 (12pm)
Competition: Pre-Season Friendly
A new-look AFC Sudbury will play their first friendly of pre-season on Saturday, as they host Haverhill Rovers at the Wardale-Williams Stadium (KO 12pm).
Eleven new players have signed for the club, including four academy graduates, with many of them expected to feature for Jamie Goldbold's side, as they take on their Suffolk opponents.
Rovers kicked off their pre-season with a 2-0 win over Mildenhall Town at the New Croft - Jordan Palmer and Rafal Wozniak were on target.
Last summer, the Yellows picked up a 4-2 win over Haverhill in a pre-season friendly. A brace from Luke Callander, a Sam Bantick strike and an own goal gave AFC the win, after Ben Bradley and Luke Haynes' put Rovers ahead in the opening 12 mins.
Admission is £6 for adults, £4 for concessions, and £2 for under-18s.
Meanwhile, AFC Sudbury Academy will be participating in the NYC Cup, a United States based youth football tournament between July 14th-16th.
