AFC Sudbury have announced that former Needham Market and Leiston boss Mark Morsley has been named the first-team manager of the Yellows.
Mark Morsley was manager of Needham until the end of last season, when he became the chairman of the Marketmen - however, he has now left this role. With the Marketmen, he guided the side to the Isthmian North title.
He replaces Jamie Godbold, who departed the club last month.
Morsley has been handed a three and a half year contract, and returns to the Brundon Lane club after a previous spell between 2006 and 2008. In his last stint at AFC, he led the Yellows to 5th and 2nd placed finishes - during their first two season in the Isthmian North before mutually resigning.
Mark will take over officially for training on Thursday 5th, ahead of Sudbury's FA Trophy match with Aylesbury Town on Saturday. However, he will be in attendance for Tuesday evening's Bostik North clash with Maldon and Tiptree.
A full statement can be found on AFC Sudbury's website here. The club have yet to confirm the full management lineup alongside Morsley, although goalkeeper coach Danny Potter is expected to remain.
Stowmarket Town head coach Lee Norfolk said on Twitter that is "looking forward to returning" to his former club
